"My 4 year old female Gloster, Tweety Bird (her mate is P.T. Bird) developed a LARGE feather cyst while I was away for a month with a sick parent, I had a house sitter. My house sitter thought Tweety's feathers were messed up from insisting on sitting in the food bowl when the nest was removed. I returned to find 2 small hard cysts on the top of her wing which I basically "chipped" off easily. However the one to the left of her vent was enormous! Nearly twice the size of a canary egg!! Now years ago I had a little male who got a lump here and there but I was always able to catch them early. Well thanks to your detailed instructions I was able to open this huge lump and clean it out. I had to use a tiny spoon like instrument used to remove clogged pores on your face. I was astounded and the quantity of the build up. Without your website I might have lost this girl. Since the lump was so large I had a towel over a hot water bottle so she didn't get chilled or stressed to badly. She is no worse for the wear and happily hopping from perch to perch!
