Time For More

Dan has emptied his crop, but two of the youngsters are still gaping - the expression on his face says it all, "Oh well, let's go fill up the tank again!"

The eldest chick is 10 days old, the other three are 9 days today. Their pin feathers are beginning to unfurl a little, and are showing some colour.

Dolly slept on the nest last night, but she had a bit of a difficult time balancing herself on top of the heap - she will probably not be doing that for much longer...

This site is dedicated to all of those who try to help others on our journey to a better
tomorrow, and especially to Jack Merkens, whose last words to me were "Promise
me you'll keep writing about those canaries! Never stop, ok? Promise!"
Okay, Jack. I promise.
