Welcome to the

Canary Cam Archives

Swift Progress

As soon as Dan has fed her everything he's collected and left for more, Dolly lifts off the chicks to begin feeding them.   Their necks are already getting so long that she is starting to have to stand at her full height in order to be able to feed them.

The first hatched chick is now three days old; the rest are two days old, and already more than twice their hatching size.

This site is dedicated to all of those who try to help others on our journey to a better
tomorrow, and especially to Jack Merkens, whose last words to me were "Promise
me you'll keep writing about those canaries! Never stop, ok? Promise!"
Okay, Jack. I promise.
