These two chicks are growing at such an incredible rate, that their mother is already beginning to find it often is necessary to return to the feed dish before her youngsters are fully satisfied. Here you see one still begging for food, even though she has already fed the two of them everything she carried in her 'tank' (usually known as the 'crop').
