Two Chicks This shot clearly shows the two chicks in this nest. Aren't they funny-looking, with their fuzzy little hairdo's, and their great big beaks, and that patch of purple skin over their eyes? And that's not even mentioning that impossibly skinny neck - every time I see new hatchlings, I wonder all over again how on earth it can manage to hold those heads up!
