Three Wise Birds Clockwise from the top you see some older members of my flock, Dan, the proud poppa from the 2000 Canary Cam, shares the swing with his mate, Dolly (in back), and her mom, Ladybird, at the lower front. If a bird stays with me into his or her second year, they stay with me for their life - it is unfair to either the bird or the buyer to sell fully mature canaries, except in very rare cases - they are far less adaptable and are very susceptible to stress.
